Lifestyle counseling entails counseling much more than just a single client…it is only effective if it includes the client’s family as well as anyone else who is close to him/her. The other people who are very close and therefore, exert a great influence on the client’s life and lifestyle also need to be included, so they can understand and support the changes that client would need to make.
